Answers

Section 1 of 6 - Overview

Q - What is Thankster.com?

A - Thankster is an innovative company that has developed technology to authentically simulate handwriting. It has married this technology with greeting cards, to allow consumers and businesses to easily send one or many beautifully designed cards with their “handwritten” message, and to easily personalize messages for multiple recipients. Thanks prints the cards, addresses and pints the envelopes, and stuffs, stamps and seals.

A - The TCDP gives designers an opportunity to submit their greeting card and thank you card designs to Thankster for listing on
Thankster.com, alongside our own designs, and to receive a share of the revenue on all purchases of cards using their designs.
If you already have card designs, its’ a great way to passively generate income by partnering with a fast growing, cutting edge
company.

Section 2 of 6 - Terms and the Licensing Agreement

Q - What is the royalty percentage?

A - We pay a royalty that is a percentage of the net sale price of your card. The net sales price is the sales price less any taxes, postage, or special discounts. The percentage is tiered according to card price, so the more money you can get for your cards the higher the percentage you will earn. It ranges from 10% to 20% with the widest tier being at 15%. For more details, please download our Card Designers Licensing Agreement. We will at times discuss other arrangements, but we beiieve this
gives artists the most upside while aligning all interests.

Q - Who determines the price of the card?

A - You can set the base price of your card, within certain bounds. The current minimum price we allow is $1.99, and the maximum
is $9.99. Many of our cards are priced at $2.49, but designer cards can often have higher prices, and this is encouraged. The
price will also vary around the base depending on volume, and in some cases on the paper stock chosen by the user.

Q - Do I get any payment besides the royalty?

A - We pay a high percentage royalty to best align the interests of our designers and our company. Paying fixed fees is not something

Q - How do I get paid?

A - You will get paid monthly, so long as your accrued earnings since your last payment are $10 or more. We can pay by Paypal, check, or EFT.

A - Once your cards are accepted and posted, we may keep them up on the Website for a minimum of 12 months. After that initial
period you may direct Thankster to remove them with 60 days written notice.

Q - Who owns the card designs once you accept them?

A - We do not require exclusivity. You will continue to own your designs. We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to them to accommodate our site and needs, though this only happens rarely.

Q - Should I design for front and back printing or for only one side?
A - You should submit your cards as folder cards (we can convert them to flat cards later). Here are the details: 1. You must do a design for the front cover, while any text or other design for the inside is optional. 2. Leave the back cover blank as it will be used for Thankster and designer branding. 3. If the inside is blank, you will submit just one file which will have the front and back covers. 4. If the card is portrait, then the pages are side by side, with the front cover on the right side and the back cover on the left side. 5. If the card is landscape, then the pages or top and bottome, with the front cover in the bottom half and the back cover on top. 6. If the inside is not blank, there will be a second file with the two inside pages. 7. You can see the orientation of these pages, as well as the cover pages, by downloading our samples.
Q - Can I include messages on inside of a card?

A - Yes. If you do you will need to send us an additional PDF file with the inside message. If it is a portrait card, please add the message to
the right side of the PDF, if it is a landscape card, please put the message on the bottom half.

Section 5 of 6 - Questions about Mini-Site

Q - What is a Mini-site?

A - We can make our website functionality available to you through a page on your existing website or a new page.  It would showcase
your cards only, and give users the ability to write messages with simulated handwriting on the inside, further bringing your
designs
to life with their added sentiment.  NOTE: The mini-site feature is currently being revised to work with our new HTML5
site, and is
expected to be available later this year.

Q - Is the Mini-site for Thankster users, or just for my own users?

A - We will already be driving traffic to you on Thankster.com, and some designers will be able to get their own section in our Browse
Cards area.  But the mini-site is intended for you to use with your audience.

Section 6 of 6 - Other

Q - Can you convert my fine art and digital art samples to greeting cards for me?

A - Unfortunately, that is not something we do at this time. You would need to add the copy and put it into our format, as indicated
in
Submission Specifications section.

Q - What kind of paper do you print on?

A - We use premium paper that ranges from 100 lb. cover to 130 lb cover. We have glossy stock for photos and various textured stocks. Most are shades of white. We stay away from significant die cutting, foiling and other embellishments. We have folded cards and flat cards, and we offer them to users in A1, A2, and A7 sizes, depending the card (though we ask you to submit as A7). Our paper is environmentally friendly, and is FSC certified.

Q - Are your cards customizable by your users?

A - The card design and copy is not editable by users.  Users can only add photos and text to inside pages. The font for the user’s
message text is in most cases a font that accurately simulates handwriting, with character variation and other effects, and is
easily distinguishable from your design, as any handwritten card would be.

Q - Can I order my own cards as blanks at a discount?

A - Yes.  We will give you a code for 40% off for any of your own cards.  It’s easiest to just email us with the request, as opposed
to trying to create a blank order at the site.
